Really overpriced for the quality of food served here. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, the expectations were high – unfortunately, this place did not come close. · Chicken: Tasted just like any ordinary chicken you'd get from a street-level siu mei shop. Nothing special at all. · Portion size: Insanely small. You can clearly tell from the photo. · Lobster: Tough and overcooked. No tenderness or sweetness you'd expect from a premium ingredient. · Sweet and sour pork (咕嚕肉): Came to the table not even hot, and the texture was completely off – no crispiness, no bite, just chewy and disappointing. · Fish broth with pea shoots (魚湯浸豆苗): Major disappointment. It was basically a plate of raw cornstarch water, with barely any fish flavour. · Bird's nest soup & fried rice: These were alright – decent but nothing memorable. Unfortunately, two passable dishes cannot save the meal. Service and environment were okay. When the food is this underwhelming, friendly staff and nice decor didn’t make up for it. Price: ~$1300hkd pp

Hong Kong, after Shenzhen, feels like stepping out of a spaceship and into a well cut Savile Row suit. Not because it’s old, though parts of it gloriously are, but because it understands something Shenzhen hasn’t yet learned: that progress without polish is just noise. Shenzhen dazzles you with drone delivered toothbrushes and toilets that greet you like an overenthusiastic butler. And then, after two weeks of this techno fever dream, you find yourself craving something far rarer: restraint. Enter Man Wah. Perched atop the Mandarin Oriental like a silk hatted aristocrat surveying its estate, it doesn’t shout for attention. It doesn’t need to. It simply is. The sort of place that assumes, correctly, that if you’ve made it this far, you already understand the rules. And what rules they are. Service here isn’t the obsequious, nodding pantomime you get in lesser establishments. It has backbone. When a waiter calmly suggests you might want to reconsider your order, you don’t bristle, you listen. Because this is not advice, it’s quiet authority. And, as it turns out, entirely justified. The BBQ pork arrives, glistening, lacquered, indecently tender, making you briefly question every

The staff are very professional and offered us complimentary drinks and desserts to enhance our dining experience. Also when there was window seat table available ( even though we didn’t request but they still offered and helped us to move). I didn’t ask for the name of the staff but he even offered me a power bank to charge my phone when I was asking if there were places i could charge my phone. The dining experience was a blast.

We booked the HSBC buy one get one dinner set. The service of the restaurant was super. Environment was cozy. For food, ummmm, not something surprising. Best part was the appetisers, cha Siu was super yummy. Jelly fish and deep fried tofu were both above standard. Other main dishes and desserts were normal. The ingredients were fresh, just we were not impressed by the final presented dishes. There’re even bonessssss in the fish!!!! Which could not happen in a 5-star hotel restaurant!! If we need to pay full price for 2 dinner sets, would definitely not choose the restaurant.
