Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Pretty good all round. Like to see more attentive service in suchba high end shopping mall. Trying the specialty coffees was the objective of our lunch gathering this time, Sadly it was discontinued .

The food at How to Live Well was just average—not bad, but certainly nothing worth going back for. What really ruined the experience was the service. The staff seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. Whenever I asked for assistance, they acted as if it was an inconvenience. Their attitude came across as cold, dismissive, and at times outright rude. Instead of making customers feel welcome, they made me feel like I was bothering them just by asking simple questions. There are plenty of restaurants serving similar food with much friendlier service. Unless the customer service improves significantly, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Amazing Birthday Dinner! I always enjoy having lunch here, but this time I booked dinner on OpenRice to celebrate my friend's birthday. I called ahead asking for a simple birthday message on the dessert, but the restaurant sweetens the deal with a free custom plate drawing service! It was a huge surprise. The atmosphere was so comfortable and, best of all, there was no time limit—we happily chatted for 3 hours. The food was great, especially the rich crab miso pasta and the fresh lemon basque cheesecake. Highly recommended!

Step into < How To Live Well > at Hysan Place, and you're not just entering a restaurant — you're stepping into a lifestyle concept. 🌿 This unique space with minimalist wooden decor blends a Japanese furniture store with a relaxed café, inviting you to slow down and savour the moment. The menu is a delightful East-meets-West fusion, offering everything from comforting pastas and pizzas to hearty grilled mains, delicate small plates and creative drinks. We tried two signature mocktails. The [ Floating Fantasy ] blended espresso with pineapple juice and Calpis, topped with creamy foam — a surprisingly perfect coffee-soda fusion. The [ Wonderland ] was light and refreshing, with coconut water, matcha cream foam, and shredded coconut. 🥥

Chilled lunch at HOW to live well in Hysan Place, Causeway Bay – love the wooden cozy vibe and natural light, perfect escape from the busy streets. Crispy crab balls with potato cakes and honey mustard were crunchy and fresh; fried chicken nest with pickled cabbage super juicy. Black truffle wild mushroom spinach pasta rich in umami, not heavy. Wonderland drink (coconut water + matcha foam + coconut shreds) layered and refreshing! Big portions, relaxing spot – will come back.
