I had a wonderful stay at The Kowloon Hotel. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui with direct access to the MTR, making it incredibly convenient to explore Hong Kong. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping malls, and attractions within walking distance. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

The hotel is a 3 star hotel in my opinion. It is well located and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is showing signs of age. The carpet inside the room should probably be replaced. The room was clean and cleaned both days that we were there. No coffee pod machine or bottled water provided. The hotel served its purpose as a place to sleep only for our stay. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

I had a great stay! The location is perfect and close to everything. The rooms are decent, clean, comfortable, and have exactly what you need for a good night's sleep. Excellent service,. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Perfect location within walking distance to the harbour, shopping, subway, and restaurants!

The Kowloon serves a purpose if all you need is a place to crash in a convenient area and you don’t require any amenities. It is very basic and budget friendly hotel. I was not comfortable staying here. I unfortunately stayed 1 night and had to book a different hotel for the rest of my vacation. The rooms are dated. You cannot control the AC and therefore it is always frigid cold, which we understood because that was probably one of the only ways they could control the mold growth in the bathroom. Yes, there is mold growth in the bathroom along the tiles, bathroom fixtures, and grout. The wifi is not efficient. And they do not offer any free toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste) and you would need to pay for it if needed. They had placed us in a room that was across from other rooms that were undergoing construction. Therefore the smell was strong. Which, our walls were thin and we can hear everything. Overall, the staff provided sufficient service. But if you are trying to enjoy your vacation and need a hotel that provides a relaxing/restful environment, the Kowloon is not it.
