Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

This cafe has cute latte art. I ordered the purple potato latte which arrived with a cute bear on the top. The drink was unusual but good. However the cheesecake was really good. I just wished they had more desserts options or simply cakes for tea time. The staff was nice and friendly too.

I dropped by this cafe on a Friday at 11:00 AM and found plenty of empty seats among the 20+ spots available. The environment is excellent—brightly lit with a great sense of space, making it a very comfortable spot to unwind or get some work done. The service was impressively fast, and my order arrived in no time. They offer oat milk, and the coffee had a well-balanced, moderate milky flavor that didn't overpower the espresso. Although the prices are on the more expensive side, the pleasant atmosphere and quality make it a place I might visit again.

Possibly the best breakfast we have ever had! Latter Caffe is truly spectacular. Every single element of the breakfast was prepared with exceptional care and attention. The scrambled eggs on avocado toast were outstanding: we ordered both the Parma ham and the salmon versions and added the black truffle, which was an absolute masterstroke. A complete triumph. The coffee was excellent, and the small, cosy details (we even had a tiny penguin peeking out of the cup) added a very special and welcoming touch. And the pistachio Basque cheesecake… simply to die for! Please, please, please — if you are visiting the area, do not hesitate to go. This was without doubt the highlight of our short city trip to Hong Kong. An unforgettable gourmet breakfast experience.

We tried two pastas: Mentaiko cream with scallops, and Sukiyaki beef. The mentaiko is balanced and briny; seared scallops stay tender. The sukiyaki version is wok-fried, sweet‑savory with soy depth; thin beef and a runny yolk make it silky. Drinks worked well: the iced grapefruit tea is crisp and citrusy; the cheese‑foam latte is rich. The parfait in a wine glass brings crunchy crumbs, fruit and light cream. Prices land around mid‑range for the area. Clean space, friendly service. A steady pick for a quiet sit‑down and a simple treat.

Presentable and yummy parfait cup, very cute marshmallow on top, and perfect pairing with the cappuccino with floral, cherry and surprisingly port wine flavour! Rich portion of the salted egg york crab meat fettuccine. Good atmosphere for a meal
