Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Walked in towards the latter half of the evening, not many people in the eatery. Roasted goose was still good despite being roasted and hanging in the window display for many hours beforehand. Roasted pork was cold and skin not longer crispy. Chicken was also quite acceptable. In general the roasted goose was the best dish in terms of a taste and texture. Eatery was small and typical of an old 80's hong kong standard decor, the meat chopper was a bare chested sweating man, chopper in one hand and cigarette in mouth. Amusing to watch and memories of an old bygone era.

Stopped in to taste the roast goose and roast pig. Each came with a bowl of noodles in broth. My friend felt that 80 hkd for the pig was too much even though it included an early bird special of soup. I enjoyed my roast goose. The skin on the pig was crunchy. I would suggest ordering to go a much better value.

Yes had a hard time Cantonese language but i asked the chef which he gave me a menu with English, So i pointed out what i like and the price is dead cheap in Hongkong. I ordered roasted goose and toasted pork. Happiest meal i had in Hongkong.

First meal after landing in HK. Safe, tasty, and quick served by a friendly lady. Popular items sold out by the time we arrived though.
