About 嶺南會所
嶺南會所 is a Cantonese and dim sum restaurant in Central, Central and Western, at 香港島中環德輔道中25號12及13樓. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:00–22:30. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2522 3339. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is lingnanclub.com.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
It has a Google rating of 4.2 out of 5 from 400 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

they serve excellent food here! the fried "fake shake fin" is the best i ever had. the chicken was also superb, it's cooked with mushroom and ham, all the flavours immersed together with the tender boneless chicken. i had no room for dessert but my peer said the red bean sweet soup was super good too. good place to dine at, but need to bear with the service not quite up to the food standard.

Really good Cantonese food. And when the service is as friendly as can be, it just makes the whole experience that much better. It’s also a huge plus when you don't have to break the bank to enjoy a fantastic meal. A true culinary delight, that's what it is.

This was my first time in this Lingnan Club and it’s a gathering with friends for dinner. With in this friends some of them are living out of Hong Kong and since they are in town we planned to have dinner gathering to catch up. The food was delicious. My friends did take their own drinks (wine) which they could enjoy during the dinner, the club let us to stay from 18:30hrs to 22:00hrs and we booked a private room for all of us. I wood recommend this club for anyone interested in Chinese cuisine. The service team is very friendly End of dinner we all order ice cream and it was awesome.

Very often Chinese restaurants would heavily season their dishes, so I really liked that Langnan Club only seasoned the food relatively lightly, so you can actually enjoy the taste of the ingredients. Service was quick, the environment was pretty clean. It was busy but not too noisy, so you could still converse without needing to shout across the table.

Attended a four-table celebration banquet at Lingnan Club and really grateful for the food that was prepared with heart. Wonderful festive atmosphere and we were well taken care of. All dishes were yummy and plenty to go around for the whole table. I believe it is member only, super glad that I got to try its food.
