Maison Kayser, a bakery in Wan Chai, is at 香港島灣仔皇后大道東248號. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
When choosing a café or dessert shop, look at whether prices are shown, whether plant milks or less-sweet options are available, and whether there is a time limit on seats. Many open seven days a week, but some small shops take a weekly day off; for cakes or large orders of pastries, calling ahead is the safest bet. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.
Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 07:00–20:30, Sat–Sun 07:30–20:30. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 3107 1380. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, maison-kayser.com.hk.
At 4.0 out of 5 on Google (271 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

I've been going here for a year now and since day one the staff have remained friendly and helpful since. The food is decent and healthy with a decent selection of meal foods and breakfast breads. I love coming here becayse there's a good selection for vegetarian and pescetarian folks. Not exactly cheap, but definitely affordable! 😋💕 The store is always well kept and clean. And has a great atmosphere for chilling. The view is also a nice addition when you sit by the window. Overall, a cozy coffee shop vibe that is suitable for reading a book or doing some light computer work. Note: No outside drinks and food but that's pretty standard for most establishments Tl:dr - great place to bring friends for a chill day hangout 👌

Came back for my second visit within three days, which says a lot already. The cake was delicious, the coffee was consistently good, and what really stood out was the friendly and attentive service from the manager. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience. A great café that I’ll happily return to again.

Lovely place to come to for breakfast. Good variety of sandwiches & bread to choose from. Croissants were soft, flaky with a light crisp. Food was good here. The black coffee has a nice aroma & light.

Easily one of the best lemon tarts in town, might sound silly but I always go for one when I am down with those when-life-gives-you-lemon moment and it will immediately cheer me up. One of my go-to for special occasions. And I love their 5 Grains Pain De Mie also, could eat that all day.

Easy to find location. Loved the spread of baked goods and healthy juices. There are indications of each item based on the symbols on the displayed allergens guide. The menu has mix & match sets to suit your meal plan or hunger level. Friendly service. Seats are comfortable and there are several power points. WiFi was great too. Noise level is minimal and respectful. This makes a great place to get some work done while consuming some of their healthier options or a quick sweet treat. I had the Salmon & Chia Seed Sandwich, Caramel Eclair and a purple juice. Was so filling and healthy, with a sinfully sweet treat ending. Now looking back at my photos, maybe I should have gone for the creme brulee. Would come back to try a few other menu items while being productive.
