Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

Came here for the egg tarts. Didn’t disappoint. True to being an egg tart, the custard was eggy with a light taste of sweetness. The custard was pretty balanced with nothing standing out on its own but everything in a harmony. Some places made the custard more like cream brulee. But this place stays true. As for the crust, yes. It encrusted the custard perfectly. There wasn’t any soggy bottom. Congrats! 😁 Egg tart done well in the absolutely nothing to nit-pick way,

The inside was cool and swanky but their pastry case was underwhelming compared to the pictures. I did come around 18:00, which is fair. I got a pistachio basque cheesecake which was yummy and my first basque cheesecake. I’m not sure that I would come here again but the vibe and the area is definitely cool. There is a local bakery down the street tho that smells amazing, but I needed a place to sit. Prices are a little high, but it’s unfortunately average for Hong Kong especially the island.

Seeing lots of people recommending the egg tarts from this coffee shop in Wan Chai, I decided to try some with my colleagues after buying cart noodles nearby. . The Egg Tart (HKD14) had a flaky, buttery crust that broke apart with a light crunch, while the custard filling was smooth, with a rich egg aroma and flavour, and just sweet enough. The caramelized tops added a slight bitterness that balanced the richness. It was indulgent but not too heavy. My colleague ordered a Coffee Mochi Tart. The filling carried a subtle coffee fragrance, and at the center, the mochi added a chewy, playful texture that contrasted nicely with the custard-like smoothness. . Located near Pacific Place, the coffee shop attracts quite a lot of white-collar customers. Its modern design creates a cozy and spacious atmosphere.

The egg tart is the best!!! Have also tried other famous HK egg tarts but none of them can beat this one. In addition, they will serve hot so it tastes even better if you choose to dine in not take away!!! Coffee is okay but all the bakes we ordered are fantastic, especially the egg tart, very crispy outside and a good portion middle eggy part!!

A modern coffee shop allows customers to take the time to enjoy the coffee and pastry. Americano tastes very good - smooth and flavourful. An enjoyable coffee. The coffee mochi tart is slightly disappointing. It’s on the sweet side. I did not expect coffee liquid oozes out of the tart. Tart crust is very crispy and I cannot taste the mochi part. I found the filling is a bit too small.
