My Sweet Art, a bakery in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Tsim Mong, is at Rm B,1/F, 龍記大廈54-56 Cameron Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Bakeries usually bake fresh in the morning and late afternoon, and popular items can sell out early.

Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Ordered a customised cake. The cake itself was soft and pillowy, cream and fruit layers were refreshing and not too heavy or sweet.

Pretty cake and great service

My friend expressed her desire for a Korean-style, girlish cake for her birthday, prompting me to conduct an online search that led me to 'My Sweet Art'. I placed an order for the Magic Flame Cake with little expectation and was completely unaware of its flammable surprise. To my astonishment, the cake not only received heaps of praise for its feminine design featuring ruffles and ribbons but also stole the show with its dramatic fire performance, leaving everyone in awe. Yet, the delights didn’t stop there; the vanilla cake was exceptionally soft, moist, and sponge-like, while the crunchy chocolate layers introduced a delightful complexity to the experience. Furthermore, the service was outstanding. The team was not only immensely friendly but also committed to ensuring that all customer expectations were fully satisfied.
