About PHYX

PHYX is a new physiotherapy company based in Central Hong Kong. We offer affordable high quality physiotherapy with a focus on sustaining an injury free and healthy body.

Doctors in Hong Kong must be registered with the Medical Council of Hong Kong, whose register can be searched online. Most private clinics take appointments and many also take same-day walk-in registrations; bring your Hong Kong ID card. Many GP consultation fees include a few days' medicine, but fees vary, so ask first. People aged 65 or over can use Elderly Health Care Vouchers towards many private healthcare services. Physiotherapists must be registered with the Physiotherapists Board, and some insurance plans require a doctor's referral first.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 07:30–19:30, Sat 09:00–14:00, Sun closed. That makes 6 working days a week. Many clinics and health services in Hong Kong close or shorten their hours on Sundays and public holidays. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 3008 3755. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is phyxhk.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

It has a Google rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 143 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

I came to PhyX Central with lower‑back pain after some heavy deadlifts, and Zoe completely turned things around. She quickly identified what was causing the issue, worked through the tightness, and taught me rehab exercises that actually made sense for my body. I walked out pain‑free after the first session and with tips to keep my back strong. Zoe is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in her clients’ recovery. Highly recommend.

I recently completed treatment at Physio Gary and I couldn’t be happier with the results. After dealing with a stubborn lower back issue that wouldn’t settle with rest or basic exercises, I booked in and was immediately impressed. The clinic is clean, modern, and welcoming. From the first session, the team made me feel at ease. My physiotherapist took a detailed history, performed a thorough assessment, and clearly explained what was going on with my back. The treatment plan combined manual therapy, targeted strengthening exercises, and practical advice for my daily routine and desk setup. After 7 sessions, my pain has gone from a constant 6–7/10 down to almost nothing. I’m moving better, sleeping better, and actually feel confident that I can keep this improvement going long-term thanks to the excellent home program they provided. The staff are professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in your recovery. Appointments run on time and communication is top-notch. If you’re looking for quality physiotherapy with real results, Physio Gary is the place to go. I’ve already recommended them to friends and family. Highly recommended – thank you Physio Gary!

A Heartfelt Thank You to Zoe! I fractured my right wrist during a trip in November 2025 and had to undergo surgery upon returning to Hong Kong. My recovery journey truly began in January 2026 when a friend recommended Physiotherapist Zoe to me. Zoe is completely different from the traditional physiotherapists I’ve encountered in the past. Rather than relying on machines for passive pain relief, she is deeply focused on active rehabilitation. She taught me a comprehensive series of rehab exercises and put so much heart into guiding me on how to use my injured wrist safely and effectively. Thanks to her professional guidance and encouragement over the past 5 months, I feel that my wrist has recovered to 90% of its original strength. 😉I am so happy to finally "graduate" today! Thank you so much, Zoe, for your exceptional care and dedication. By the way, your physiotherapy center is so different from the ones I’ve been to before! It feels incredibly comfortable and full of energy. Highly recommended!👍🏽

Marco is anwesome and saved my knee. I had an ACL and meniscus reconstruction operation last July, feeling helpless and doubted whether I would ever play sport again. Not until I met Marco. Tailored made rehab plan, acupuncture, accurate tests, you name it. Now I’m already running and jumping after 6 months!!! Million thanks to Marco! 💪🏻 Couldn’t have made it without you buddy!

PHYX has really helped relieve the pain in my arms, hips, and plantar area. I can’t thank Christie enough for her professionalism and encouragement. The 30-minute treatments are highly effective and save me so much time. When Christie is out of town, she arranges for Zoe and Gary to follow up with me — they are also very knowledgeable physiotherapists who teach me home exercises to strengthen my muscles. The clinic itself is cozy and welcoming. Highly recommended!
