Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Just wow. Best pad see ew of my life. The pad see ew is written in the menu as “stir-fried flat noodles” and I highly recommend it! My friend and I had a transcendental experience eating here. We liked the pad see ew so much that we decided to come here for dinner the day after and we were only staying in Hong Kong for 2 days haha! Note that we got there 10-15 minutes before 6 pm (when restaurant opens) and there was already a long line waiting outside the restaurant to get in, but we were able to get bar seats and it was a lovely experience! Great staff as well :) The other dishes we ordered were splendid as well. We got the watercress for the vegetable and the wagyu beef wok with basil or something and rice. The mango sticky rice is interesting because the mango was not that sweet but the rice was the one that was sweetened, and I found it really delicious but my friend didn’t really like, but yes, amazing amazing restaurant

Delicious food and good vibes! The beef boat noodle broth was super rich and the pomelo and shrimp salad was very tangy and refreshing. Highly recommend. The Thai iced lime tea was unique and refreshing too! The service was excellent. Junnel was amazing. Helped recommend good food based on my preferences and was very attentive and proactive.

I do not say this lightly because I absolutely love Thai food and have eaten all over Thailand, this is definitely some of the best Thai food I have had in my life! I got the flat noodle dish and the texture, flavor, spices was all perfection. I also got the mango passionfruit smoothie and the mango sticky rice, both delicious as well. Definitely a must if you are in Hong Kong.

The highlights were definitely the beef boat noodle and the crab fried rice. The beef boat noodle had such a rich flavour and great noodle texture. The rice had really good wok hay. We ordered the manila clams and mango sticky rice too. Clams were just okay. Huge shout out to the GM for the pad Thai at the end!

First time visiting Samsen and the service was amazing. Staff were friendly and polite (also quite fun!) 4 of us shared 2 sides, 4 mains and 3 drinks. Got lucky that we only waited ard 10mins as in the past whenever I pass by it I saw a queue of 30ppl. Food was very flavourful and taste authentic. Generous portion size . We had some leftovers . Highly recommend the pomelo prawn salad, super refreshing for summer in HK.
