Many Hong Kong restaurants add a 10% service charge to the bill, and tipping beyond that is optional. Popular places fill up at lunchtime and on weekend evenings, so book by phone, WhatsApp or a platform such as OpenRice; some set a time limit or a minimum spend. Most offer both dine-in and takeaway, and Octopus, credit cards, FPS and PayMe are widely accepted, though smaller places may take cash only. Dim sum restaurants usually charge a per-person tea fee, and dishes are priced by size; weekend mornings from about 10:00 to lunchtime are the busiest, and many places give out queue tickets. Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.
Opening hours: daily, 07:00–22:30. It is open seven days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2234 6199; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
At 3.7 out of 5 on Google (488 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

We bought the Peking duck, and at first all they brought was empty skins, without any meat on them or anywhere on the side. When we complained, they argued that in Mainland China, the Peking duck skins have meat on them, but in Hong Kong it's normally just the skins, so this atrocity is perfectly fine. 😂 After explaining to them that I have NEVER had Peking duck in Mainland China but at least a dozen times in Hong Kong and no one ever made it like this, they said ok please wait, we can make it with meat (what they brought back was indeed much better but still not exactly impressive)... If we didn't complain we'd be paying 188 HKD for 15 pieces of meatless skin... Like this we got about 25 pieces of skin with some meat on it. Avoid at all costs.

The Cantonese restaurant was located on the 7th floor. Guests had to use lifts to reach there. Luckily, the three lifts were working well. The service was satisfactory. The dim sum ordered were delivered on time. The quality was good and a few of them looked fancy. The toilet condition was average.

Nice place to eat and gather with family and friends. Price is ok, food is pretty good. A little innovative than regular chinese restaurants. Service is acceptable, little rough but i guess that screams hong kong.

Order some fancy dishes from this relatively trendy chinese resto🤣 Their iced sweet and sour gulu meat was with a special texture, extra crispy and cold outside. The deep fried milk was another authentic dish that could be served as dessert when you eat with sugar😛
