Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

Location is amazing highly recommend staying here just for location. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Room is small but we knew that coming in. There wasn’t any mold but it definitely could have been updated and revamped. The towels they give you are horrible but it wasn’t that big of a deal for us. It is super close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Staff were very nice and the lobby is nice.

This hotel is probably fine if you’re a horse looking for a stable. Just kidding. It wouldn’t even be suitable for that. You’d have to be a smoking horse. In fact, in the awful micro-rooms they offer, if someone is smoking in another room, the air-conditioning system will make it feel as though they’re smoking right in yours. What can I say… apart from the location, I’d say there’s absolutely nothing worth saving. Not even the staff, who seem to be constantly annoyed. Oh, and I’d like to make a point about the bed, because it gives you a better idea of just how small the room is: I’m certainly no giant (1.82 m / 6 ft), but I didn’t fit. My feet were sticking out from around my calves. So they shouldn’t call it a bed; they should call it a crib. Obviously, there are no amenities whatsoever, so you have to buy everything yourself. The bathroom set is basically made of paper. I don’t think it’s even absorbent paper, to be honest. They really went the extra mile to make this place awful too. 🙂

I stayed here for three nights. The room was very small, really only suitable for one person. If you’re traveling with two people or have large luggage, it will feel quite cramped. The room was also very cold because the hotel uses central air conditioning, and there was no way to adjust the temperature. Since the weather was already cold, it made the room even colder. The service was okay, but don’t expect too much. The location is excellent, it’s close to the city center and within easy reach of most attractions. However, if you’re not taking a taxi or cab to the hotel, be prepared to carry your luggage up quite a few stairs, which can be challenging. Overall, I was happy with my stay. It was practical, and the location made it a convenient base for exploring the city.

I stayed here alone for 2 nights and overall thought it was good value for money. The room was perfect for what I needed — small, but I expected that and it was absolutely fine for a short stay. One thing worth highlighting is that the shower and toilet area is separated from the room by glass, so if you’re staying with someone else there isn’t a huge amount of privacy. I took the MRT from the airport and found it very easy to get to the hotel. However, between the station and the hotel there is quite a steep incline and a decent amount of steps. I was travelling alone with two suitcases and found this quite difficult to manage, so if you have a lot of luggage it may be worth considering getting a taxi instead. On arrival, the lobby area was lovely and there’s a little café where you can buy coffee. They also stored my bags for me which was helpful. Just to note though, luggage storage before check-in is free, but they do charge for storage after check-out. The location was great — it was really easy to either walk to the places I wanted to see or access the MRT. There were also lots of nearby 7/11s which was really convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks. I thought the rece
