Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Nice little Japanese restaurant with variety of daily fresh ingredients on their special menu. Their fried dishes were all special and delicious. The grilled fish was full of flavours. The beef tenderloin with daikon were flavourful. Make sure to make a reservation for dinner as this place is very popular.

The food is ok but some of the food are not that fresh. I ordered the sukiyaki but the beef is below par quality. The skewers were not too impressive either. The pizza was ok though with 明太子. 4/5 for food. The service was ok fine. The waitress was friendly. 4/5. The atmosphere was fine. The lighting is a little dark and but improve the lighting a bit. 4/5.

Kyukyoku Do Causeway Bay is one of the Japanese restaurants I would like to try for lunch. Ordered 2 lunch combos, one is deluxe Chirashi Don, and the other is tomato curry beef udon. Both come with miso soup and salad. Miso soup is as good as other places, but the salad is dry and no sauce. The sashimi in the Don is fresh and thick, but size of the overall Don is on the smaller side. The tomato curry beef udon soup is good. There are good portions of beef. Also after 2pm, it is 12% off on everything.

Tang Lung Street has an array of F&B establishments from Korean grill, Chinese hot pot to Western delights. In the end my mom decided to pop into Kyukyoku Do in Circle Tower for some izakaya treats. ◆Botan Shrimp, Yellowtail ◆Kyukyoku Seafood Cup Ordered sashimi as a starter. The hamachi was exceptionally thick. Very satisfying. The seafood cup was highly instagrammable, layered with minced tuna, ikura and refreshing fruit jelly. ◆Egg Roll w/ Cheese ◆Deep-fried Chicken Tamagoyaki, topped with tobiko, was a standout with melting cheese and smooth egg filling in the middle. Karaage had a crunchy texture and was topped with an appetizing onion mayo sauce. ◆Grilled Ox Tongue ◆Grilled Yellowtail Collar The grilled dishes were rather salty which would go well with sake or beer. Tender ox tongue. Juicy and fatty hamachi. Food was served pretty efficiently so we didn't order everything at once. There was only one staff responsible for service on the day and she was very attentive and diligent.

Kyukoku Do attracted me with their colorful menu and variety of dishes, and the food definitely did not disappoint🥰 The Olive Flounder Muscle and Fried Shrimp with Sea Urchin is a must-try – fragrant flounder and fresh uni made a perfect match, while the crispy fried shrimp added texture to the whole roll🤤Smoked Seared Garlic Tuna is another one of their signature - instagrammable and delicious, the tuna slices were thick-cut and flavorful with a hint of smokiness to elevate the freshness! If you have more friends getting together, can also consider booking the VIP rooms available in both cwb and north point branches🥳
