Book wedding and birthday banquets months ahead.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:00–20:30. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2524 3882. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is app.eats365pos.com, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Michelin Star Roast Goose 9/10 Crispy Pork 8/10 Yat Lok (一樂燒鵝) is a siu mei (Chinese roast meat) restaurant in Central, Hong Kong, globally recognized for its signature roast goose. Despite its humble, no-frills appearance, it is one of the most affordable Michelin-starred restaurants in the world. Key Characteristics and Offerings Legendary Roast Goose: The absolute standout on the menu is the roast goose, marinated in a secret family recipe of over 20 herbs and spices. It is famous for its paper-thin, shatteringly crispy skin, a melt-in-your-mouth layer of fat, and tender, juicy meat. Serving Style: Diners frequently order the highly coveted roast goose drumstick, served either over hot steamed rice or with lai fun (thick, chewy rice noodles) in a light, savory broth. Michelin Status: Yat Lok has maintained a Michelin Star for many consecutive years due to its consistently flawless roasting technique. The establishment was also highly praised by the late chef and television host Anthony Bourdain. Atmosphere and Fast Service: The dining room is cramped, bustling, and entirely devoid of luxury. True to local fast-paced dining culture, the service is hyper-efficient and brusque. Cu

Dont come here, go to Po Kee 波記燒鵝 in hku station this place is not like before, quality of the goose drops but the price goes up, the goose is dull, dry and meat is tough. Broth is nothing special either. On the other hand, Po Kee is cheaper and has better roast goose (i only tried the goose there). Attached photos for both restaurants (the difference is obvious) I give it a 2 star because of food came quickly and the wait wasn’t too long (i dined alone)

It’s quite packed but we manage to get a seat real quick! Ignore the cramped spot and just enjoy the food! The price is abit in the pricier side for a a smaller or in another word older restaurant. Some of us would call it like a “ coffee shop “. A small food store. Even being alittle more on the pricey side, the food is good. Perhaps it’s normal pricing in HK. Let’s not think about the money, since you’re here to travel. We would recommend you to try it if you’re around the corner! Roasted Goose, char siew and roasted pork is a must have! Side note, For 3 of us and two out of the 3 don’t really like meat in general, we wanted to buy the Lower quarter half of the goose but they don’t allow us to buy that even when it’s on the menu. Maybe cause we have 3 pax they ask us to buy the top half, wing only or half a goose. We understand that if they only sell lower half. They would have tons of top half. 😂 Maybe solo guest might have the chance to buy lower quarter halves.

I had a great experience at Yat Lok during my trip to Hong Kong. The roast pork, roast goose, and char siu were all delicious, and it’s easy to see why this place has earned a Michelin star. Even though it was packed, I was seated in less than 10 minutes, and my food arrived surprisingly fast. Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for authentic Cantonese roast meats.

I ordered foodpanda delivery for 1 meal set with roasted goose, roasted goose chest, barbecued pork and lettuce. The lettuce tastes quite fresh and exceed my expectation, however I can't taste any oyster sauce. The roasted goose taste good and the skin is quite chewy. The chest adds $10 more in foodpanda but only very few pieces. This is totally not worth it. As for the pork, it is very tender and not much fat in it, still it tastes good. Besides, the sauce added to the meat and rice is quite salty and contains too much flavours. And the sweet sauce that comes with the goose is all spilled out in the bag and I cannot taste it.
