Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving.

Nothing was quite right today. Rice was way too warm (steaming hot), moist and soft. Temperature of fish was also too warm in such hot weather. The warm rice only affected the texture of the fish more adversely. Ratio of neta and shari was not well balanced and seasoning was off.

Visiting my favorite omakase place in Hong Kong again, and it reminded me why I keep coming back. The fish was exceptionally fresh — almost as if it had just come out of the water. The progression of the meal was especially thoughtful, with every course flowing naturally into the next. Nothing felt rushed, and every detail seemed intentional. It wasn’t simply a dinner, but an experience centered on craftsmanship, balance, and flavor. The evening began with two appetizers: kuruma prawn and hokkigai clam with Chinese wine jelly, followed by delicate crab meat topped with caviar. The sushi selection for the night included ika (squid), botan ebi, shima-aji, needlefish, monkfish liver tart, wild-caught trout, chu-toro, toro, aji, stuffed baby squid topped with a squid ink crisp, auction-grade uni, and unagi (freshwater eel). After serving a chopped toro hand roll, the meal concluded with rice cooked with sea cucumber, mushrooms, and green peas. Dessert was a silky smooth hojicha panna cotta, a gentle and elegant ending to an outstanding meal. On top of the remarkable meal, the ambience and service elevated the entire experience even further.

It’s my second time dine-in here, food is as high quality as first time. Chef is very creative and know how to reach balance of good ingredients. Sushi is very fresh as well. Once you sit-down, they will serve you a small glass of free sake and snacks. The ending dessert is always so good, this time is pudding with same tea favor source which make the pudding so refreshing and special. Last time the combination is pudding with bird’s nest (my mind is still recalling how delicious it is)

The winner edition of restaurant week really drives me crazy, all these fascinating restaurants are stunning and the actor of today is "Sushi Yamatsuki". 鮨山月 It amazes me with stylish and classic interior design, the big L shaped bar table with all plain earth tone, it makes me feel very relaxed. They have served me a welcome drink (Non alcoholic Yuzi drinks, costs $80) as a treat. Tailor-made menu is specially offered to who subscribed to dinning city and HSBC card, $441 includes starter+9 sushi+rolls+dessert All of them are very nice in regards to presentation, food quality and portions. CP Value: 9.0/10. The chef has explained each courses and sushi with the handling methods and ingredients included. Dinning experience: In a nutshell, it was an exceptional experience to me as the ambiance is really great. The server is very caring and observant, she has kept the eye on my tea and refill instantly when it's empty.Appreciated it a lot. It is very cozy and chill to spend time here, there is no background music and perfectly fit for those who wants to chat.

Really value for money Japanese dinner omakase at hkd 1000 with dinning city offer (original price around 1400) for 12 courses. I like the grilled 目光魚 the best , then the fatty tuna and sea urchin roe bowl. Conveniently located in CWB with serene environment. Also they offer complimentary welcome sake! Last but not least the bird nest pudding is amazing too! Will come back again for sure!
